School Dinners

School dinners are cooked on the premises by Edwards & Ward.  A copy of the menu can be found below.

If your child requires a special diet for medical reasons, please complete Edwards & Ward's special diet registration form.

Under the Universal Free School Meals Policy, all primary school children who attend a state school in London will receive a free school dinner.  Please ensure the school office knows if you choose this option so that the school kitchen can cater for the correct numbers.

Any enquiries regarding free meal entitlement should be addressed to the school office or Bexley Council's Free School Meals Team:

Email: Bexley.freeschoolmeals@secure.capita.co.uk

Telephone: 01322 356019

Packed Lunches

If your child does not want a school dinner, they should bring to school a packed lunch.  Please ensure that both the lunchbox and drink flask are clearly labelled with your child's name and class.

You may find this leaflet useful from the British Nutrition Foundation to support Healthier Packed Lunches. Lunchbox ideas can also be found on the Nutritionist Resource website.

Please note that children should commit to either a packed lunch or a school dinner for the whole of each half term. Any change in lunch arrangements should be made via the school office.

Food Allergies

Please be aware that we are a nut-free school and that there are pupils who suffer from food allergies.  For this reason we cannot allow food/sweets to be brought into school to be given to children to celebrate a birthday.

School Milk

If your child is under 5, they are entitled to receive a carton of semi-skimmed milk in class each day.  There is no charge for this and your child will automatically receive it until they turn 5.
