If your child is currently in Year 5 and you are planning to apply for a Year 7 place at a Bexley or Kent grammar school, you will need to register your child for the selection tests for these areas.  Please note that late registrations will not be accepted (there are no exceptions).  The information provided below gives further details on how to register your child to sit the selection tests:

• The 2024 Bexley Selection Test will take place in school week commencing 9 September (the exact date is yet to be confirmed by Bexley Council).  Registration will open on Wednesday 1 May and close at midnight on Friday 31 May 2024.  Late registrations will not be accepted.  Before registering your child to sit the Bexley Test, parents are encouraged to read the advice from Bexley Council. 

• The date of the 2024 Kent Test has not yet been released but registration usually opens in June.  Further information will be uploaded to this page when available.
