Old Bexley CE Primary School is a Voluntary Controlled Primary School.  As such, the teaching of RE is given significant importance.  The Governors have adopted the Rochester Diocese Agreed Syllabus which is underpinned by the Understanding Christianity Scheme of Work.  This is taught by class teachers from Reception to Year 6.

Old Bexley CE Primary is an Academy within the Amadeus Trust.  Teaching and learning in RE has a high profile, with RE being taught by Class Teachers from Reception to Year 6.  We have ensured that our RE is in line with the Statement of Entitlement from the Church of England.
